VegasNow live blackjack for Australian players
Our live blackjack tables put a real dealer, a real shoe and a betting countdown on your screen, whether you sit at a seven-seat Evolution table, join Infinite Blackjack or try the reshaped deck of Power Blackjack. Below we follow a hand from first chip to settlement, cover every bet on the felt, show how to stay inside the A$8 cap while a bonus runs, and put real numbers on the 10% wagering contribution and the loyalty points a session earns.
VegasNow live blackjack at a glance
Before you choose a seat, these are the published details that shape a session at our blackjack tables. Anything missing from the list, such as payout odds or one table's stake range, is printed on the table itself once you open it.
| Item | What applies |
|---|---|
| Studio | Evolution live dealer tables in our live-casino lobby |
| Standard tables | Seven seats, with Bet Behind on seated hands |
| Infinite Blackjack | No cap on the number of players |
| Power Blackjack | Eight-deck shoe stripped of its 9s and 10s; picture cards kept |
| Side bets | Perfect Pairs and 21+3 on most tables; Infinite and Power Blackjack add Hot 3, Bust It and Any Pair |
| Bonus wagering contribution | 10% of each stake (general bonus terms, 26 February 2024) |
| Maximum bet with a bonus running | A$8 |
| Bonus validity | 7 days, one bonus live at once |
| Loyalty earning | 1 point per A$250 wagered |
| Who can play | Adults aged 18 and over |
Two rows matter most: the 10% contribution, which makes bonus clearing slow, and the A$8 limit, which shapes how you combine a main bet with side bets.
How a live blackjack hand plays out, step by step
However busy the screen looks, every hand you play is a contest between your cards and the dealer's. Nobody else at the table can win your money, and you cannot win theirs. This is the order of play.
1. The betting window opens
A countdown appears. Place your main bet in your seat and, if you want them, side bets in the smaller circles beside it. At zero, the table stops taking chips for that hand.
2. The cards come out
Each seated hand gets two cards. The dealer also takes two and turns one over. That visible dealer card, called the upcard, is all you know about the house hand while you decide.
3. You make your call
On your turn, draw again or stay with your total. Where the table's rules panel offers a double or a split, those buttons appear too, and each one adds a further stake to the hand. Pass 21 and the hand is lost on the spot.
4. The dealer finishes and the table settles
Once every seat has acted, the dealer completes the house hand under the fixed rules shown on the table. Your main bet is settled by comparing totals, with the hand nearer 21 winning, and each side bet is paid or collected on its own condition.
VegasNow live blackjack table types
Our live-casino lobby groups several blackjack formats together, and they are not interchangeable. Each one changes either how many people can play or which cards sit in the shoe.
Standard seven-seat tables
The familiar layout: seven seats around one dealer. When every seat is taken, you can still join in through Bet Behind on another player's hand. Most of these tables carry the two classic side bets.
Infinite Blackjack
No limit on the number of players, so there is never a queue for a seat. The side-bet menu grows from two options to five.
Power Blackjack
The shoe holds eight decks, but every 9 and 10 has been pulled while jacks, queens and kings remain. That shifts which two-card totals turn up, so treat it as a separate game that happens to share a name. Its side bets match Infinite Blackjack.
Deck counts are not uniform across the range; they vary by variant, so check the rules panel of the table you actually open. The lobby also shows individual tables by name, for example Emerald Blackjack 95, Ruby Blackjack 72 and VIP Blackjack 9. Each table's info panel lists its own rules and stake range.
Main bet, Bet Behind and side bets on VegasNow tables
Every chip you place at a blackjack table ends up in one of three places: your own seat, someone else's seat or a side-bet circle. Each is a separate wager with its own settlement.
The main bet
This is the stake on your own hand. It is the only wager your decisions influence, and it is settled when your final total meets the dealer's.
Bet Behind
Bet Behind attaches your stake to a hand that somebody else is playing. They decide whether to hit or stand, you have no say, and your chip rides on whatever their hand achieves, at the odds the table pays for it. This is how you take part at a seven-seat table that is already full. Watch a seat for a few hands before backing it, because for as long as you sit behind that player, their choices are yours too.
Side bets
| Side bet | What it depends on | Where you find it |
|---|---|---|
| Perfect Pairs | Whether your opening two cards pair up; mixed, coloured and perfect pairs are graded by how closely they match | Most tables |
| 21+3 | Your first two cards plus the dealer's upcard making a three-card poker hand | Most tables |
| Any Pair | Condition and paytable shown on the table | Infinite and Power Blackjack |
| Hot 3 | Condition and paytable shown on the table | Infinite and Power Blackjack |
| Bust It | The dealer's hand going over 21 | Infinite and Power Blackjack |
Payouts are printed on each table's own paytable. Structurally, a side bet is a stake of its own. Winning one leaves your main hand exactly where it was, and losing one costs you only that chip.
Staying inside the A$8 cap on a VegasNow blackjack hand
With a bonus running on your account, the most you can stake is A$8. At a blackjack table the sensible reading is that this covers everything riding on a single hand: the main bet, side bets, a Bet Behind stake and any chips added by doubling or splitting. Deciding how to divide that A$8 before the countdown starts saves a rushed choice later.
| Layout | Main bet | Extras | Total on the hand | Inside A$8? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main bet only | A$8 | None | A$8 | Yes, but no room to double |
| Main bet with two side bets | A$5 | A$2 Perfect Pairs, A$1 21+3 | A$8 | Yes |
| Same layout plus Bet Behind | A$5 | A$3 in side bets, A$2 Bet Behind | A$10 | No, A$2 over |
| Leaving room to double | A$4 | None | A$8 after doubling | Yes |
| Doubling a A$5 bet | A$5 | None | A$10 after doubling | No, A$2 over |
The rule of thumb is plain arithmetic. If you might double or split, your opening main bet can be no more than half of whatever room is left after side bets. With no side bets, that is A$4. With A$1 on 21+3, the room is A$7 and the opening bet A$3.50, because A$3.50 doubled is A$7 and the side bet brings the hand to A$8. A split works the same way, since it adds a second stake equal to the first.
How live blackjack counts toward VegasNow bonus wagering
Our general bonus terms give each game type its own contribution rate, and blackjack sits at 10%, level with game shows. Roulette counts 25%, eligible pokies 100% (some titles are listed as exceptions) and baccarat nothing. In practice, every A$10 staked at a blackjack table moves your wagering counter by A$1, whether the hand wins, loses or the dealer busts.
Welcome bonuses work across casino and live-casino games, so blackjack is allowed. The real question is how much play the requirement takes. Here are two first-deposit examples using the 150% first stage of our welcome package and its 40× requirement on the bonus.
| Step | A$30 card deposit | A$100 deposit |
|---|---|---|
| First-stage bonus at 150% | A$45 | A$150 |
| Wagering at 40× the bonus | A$1,800 | A$6,000 |
| Blackjack stakes needed at 10% | A$18,000 | A$60,000 |
| Hands at the A$8 maximum | 2,250 | 7,500 |
| Hands per day across 7 days | About 321 | About 1,071 |
A$30 is the card minimum in our AU cashier. The bonus offer itself starts at A$20, but the payment method sets the real floor. For comparison, the A$6,000 requirement takes A$6,000 of stakes on a pokie outside the exceptions list and A$24,000 on roulette, while baccarat stakes leave the counter where it was.
Other rules travel with every bonus. It lasts seven days, only one can be live at once, and A$5,000 is the most you can withdraw in winnings from any single deposit-bonus offer. Separately, our account terms require a 3× turnover of each deposit before related funds are paid out, bonus or no bonus: on a A$100 deposit that is A$300 of play first. Our withdrawals page covers the payout side.
Why the VegasNow blackjack table clears bonuses slowly
Three things stack up against clearing a bonus at a live table.
- The rate. At 10%, a hand at the A$8 maximum contributes A$0.80. No strategy changes that, because contribution is measured on what you stake, not on what you win. Sound decisions protect your balance; they do not shorten the requirement.
- The pace. A live dealer works through every seat before the next round, and the countdown resets each time. You cannot hurry the table, but the seven-day clock keeps moving.
- The balance. With a A$100 deposit and a A$150 bonus you start on A$250, and you need to put A$60,000 across the felt. Whether a balance that size lasts through that much action is something no average can promise.
If blackjack is the game you came for, two approaches make more sense. You can decline the bonus, which our general terms allow; that removes the 40× requirement, the A$8 cap and the seven-day timer, although the 3× deposit turnover still applies before a withdrawal. Or you can accept the bonus, do most of the clearing on eligible pokies at 100%, and come back to the cards once it is finished. Moving to Crazy Time or another game show does not help, since those count at the same 10%.
Loyalty points from VegasNow live blackjack
Every real-money hand also feeds our loyalty programme and its seven Las Vegas-themed levels. Blackjack earns at the slowest published rate, 1 point for every A$250 wagered, the same as baccarat. Slots earn 1 redeemable and 1 status point per A$25, and roulette 1 point per A$100.
| Blackjack stakes | Points | What the points do |
|---|---|---|
| A$250 (50 hands at A$5) | 1 | Worth 2.5 cents at the entry exchange rate |
| A$5,000 | 20 | Still short of the 200-point minimum exchange |
| A$50,000 | 200 | One A$5 bonus at Golden Glimmer |
| A$60,000 | 240 | One A$5 bonus, with 40 points carried forward |
| A$150,000 | 600 | Golden Glimmer II, the first step up the ladder |
Put another way, at the entry exchange rate a blackjack point is worth about 0.01% of the stakes that earned it: 2.5 cents for each A$250. At Bella Vista, the top level, 100,000 points exchange for A$5,000, or 5 cents a point, and Parisian Palace Las Vegas sits between them at 750 points for A$20. Store bonuses are still bonuses, with 40× wagering: a A$5 exchange means A$200 of wagering, which is A$2,000 of blackjack stakes or 250 hands at A$8.
Level thresholds and the Sin City VIP Lounge are set out on our VIP and loyalty page.
Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback and other VegasNow promotions
Our promotions page carries one offer built for card players, Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback. Its detailed terms appear when you open the offer inside your account, and we do not restate figures the public page leaves out. Around it sit eight more recurring offers: Grand Mondays, Sunday Split, Free Spins Flush, 7-Deadly Spins, 3-of-a-kind Thursdays, Lucky 7s Load Up, Friday Night Spotlight and the Monthly Bankroll Booster.
Only two of those publish headline figures. Every Tuesday, Lucky 7s Load Up matches 77% of a deposit up to A$77, and you can claim it again on later Tuesdays. On Fridays, the Spotlight offer pays 40 free spins per qualifying deposit, on a featured title that changes each week.
Worked example: a Tuesday reload taken to the blackjack table
A A$100 Tuesday deposit earns the full A$77, since 77% of A$100 is exactly A$77. On the default 40× terms that becomes A$3,080 of wagering. At blackjack's 10%, it means A$30,800 of stakes: 3,850 hands at A$8, or 550 a day over seven days. On an eligible pokie, A$3,080 of spins covers the same requirement.
Any credit from a cashback or a reload follows the general bonus terms unless the offer itself says otherwise: seven days, the A$8 maximum bet, the contribution rates above and no second bonus alongside it. That also means a Tuesday reload has to wait if a welcome stage is still open. The full weekly line-up is on our weekly promotions page.
Playing VegasNow live blackjack on your phone
The tables stream straight into Safari or Chrome. VegasNow is not listed in Apple's App Store or on Google Play, and no APK comes from us, so any download offered elsewhere is unofficial. For one-tap access, pin the site to your Home Screen.
- iPhone or iPad, in Safari: tap Share, pick Add to Home Screen, and keep Open as Web App on for a full-screen view.
- Android, in Chrome: open the browser menu and pick the install option or the Home screen shortcut.
On a patchy signal the video can trail the countdown, so the window may close before you decide; Wi-Fi is safer for longer sessions. Our mobile guide to the web app walks through set-up, and a deposit limit is worth setting before the first hand you play on the phone, where sessions are easiest to stretch.
Common live blackjack mistakes at VegasNow
- Expecting full contribution. Blackjack counts 10%, so even a modest A$1,800 requirement needs A$18,000 at the table.
- Forgetting that side bets share the A$8. A$5 main, A$2 Perfect Pairs and A$1 21+3 already hits the limit.
- Doubling past the cap. A A$5 main bet doubled becomes A$10. Open at A$4 if you want room to double.
- Playing Power Blackjack as if it were the standard game. With no 9s or 10s in its shoe, familiar totals arrive at different rates.
- Backing a seat without watching it. With Bet Behind, the seated player makes every decision on the hand you have backed.
- Raising a side bet to win back the main bet. Each is settled separately, and a lost Perfect Pairs chip is simply lost.
- Moving to baccarat to finish wagering. It contributes 0%, so nothing staked there counts.
- Requesting a withdrawal too soon. Until the deposit has been played through three times, our account terms allow the request to be refused or charged a processing fee.
Responsible play at the VegasNow blackjack table
The operator behind VegasNow is Just Entertainment B.V., registered in Curaçao as company 160603 and holding licence number OGL/2024/164/0246 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority; the public validator shows it. Our tables are for adults aged 18 and over.
Blackjack invites the idea that skill should win back a losing run. It does not work like that: the shoe owes you nothing, and raising stakes after losses only widens the swings. Fix a spending limit for the evening before the first deal, use the deposit limits in your account (our general terms note that limits cannot be applied to cryptocurrency deposits), and step away when the countdown starts to feel like pressure. You can also self-exclude, through the account or by asking our support team.
If gambling is hurting you or someone close to you, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au; the service is free and confidential. BetStop is the national register for excluding yourself from Australian-licensed wagering providers, so for VegasNow itself, the exclusion tools in your account are the route. Our responsible gambling page lists every option.
VegasNow live blackjack: questions and answers
How many people can play at one VegasNow live blackjack table?
Standard Evolution tables have seven seats. Infinite Blackjack has no player limit, and if a seven-seat table is full you can still join through Bet Behind on a seated hand.
What does Bet Behind mean?
It is a stake placed on another player's hand. They choose every move, and your bet wins or loses with their hand at the odds the table pays it.
Which side bets can I place on live blackjack?
Most tables offer Perfect Pairs and 21+3. Infinite and Power Blackjack add three more: Bust It, Hot 3 and Any Pair. Each has its own paytable and is settled separately from your main hand.
Do side bets count toward the A$8 maximum bet?
While a bonus is active, read the A$8 limit as the total on the hand, side bets, Bet Behind and doubles included. A$5 on the main bet with A$2 and A$1 on side bets already reaches it.
How much does live blackjack count toward VegasNow bonus wagering?
10% of each stake, under our general bonus terms dated 26 February 2024. On a A$150 first-stage bonus, the 40× requirement of A$6,000 translates into A$60,000 of blackjack stakes.
How many loyalty points does live blackjack earn?
1 point per A$250 wagered. A$50,000 of stakes earns 200 points, which exchange for A$5 at the entry level, Golden Glimmer, and that bonus carries 40× wagering.
What is Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback?
It is the blackjack offer on our promotions page. Its full terms are shown in your account, and anything it credits as a bonus follows the general terms, including the A$8 cap and blackjack's 10% rate.
