Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: three editions explained
Our pokies lobby carries three Gates of Olympus games from Pragmatic Play: the original, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter. Below we separate the figures the provider publishes for each, work through the multiplier and Super Scatter arithmetic in Australian dollars, and show how a spin on any edition counts toward bonus wagering, loyalty points and the A$8 bet limit.
Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: the short version
Every line in this table comes from Pragmatic Play's own game pages or from our published bonus and loyalty terms.
| Item | What applies |
|---|---|
| Provider | Pragmatic Play, for all three editions |
| Editions in our lobby | Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter |
| Grid on the original | Six reels, no paylines; wins from 8 to 30 matching symbols in any position |
| Published RTP | 96.50%, for the original edition only |
| Multiplier symbols | Up to 500× each, with values added together (original and Super Scatter) |
| Free spins on the original | 15, triggered by four or more scatters |
| Top published win | 50,000× on Super Scatter; not published for the other two |
| Bonus wagering contribution | 100% as a slot, unless the terms list the title as an exception |
| Largest bet with a bonus active | A$8 per spin |
| Loyalty earning | Every A$25 of real-money stakes earns 1 redeemable point plus 1 status point |
| Where it runs | Desktop and phone browsers, with nothing to download |
Two gaps are deliberate. Pragmatic Play states no volatility for any of the three and nothing we can quote for Gates of Olympus 1000. Those details sit in each game's info panel, and we would rather leave a blank than borrow a figure from another edition.
Which Gates of Olympus is which in the VegasNow lobby
Type Gates of Olympus into the search bar of our pokies lobby and the three editions appear side by side. Searching Pragmatic Play brings up the studio's wider range. Once you have chosen an edition, add it to Saved games so the right one is waiting next time.
| Edition | Published on the provider page | Check inside the game |
|---|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus | Six tumbling reels, pays for 8 to 30 symbols, multipliers up to 500×, 15 free spins for four or more scatters, RTP 96.50% | Volatility and maximum win |
| Gates of Olympus 1000 | Nothing we can quote | Every figure: layout, multipliers, feature, maximum win and RTP |
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | Tumbling reels, multipliers up to 500×, Super Scatter awards of 100× to 50,000×, maximum win 50,000× | RTP and volatility |
All three tiles share the same Zeus artwork, so tapping the wrong one is easy. The title on the loading screen is the one whose rules count. Figures that belong to the original, such as its RTP or its 15-spin feature, do not transfer to the other two, and no published figure explains the 1000 in that edition's name. Our pokies overview explains why edition matching matters, and the Book of Ra page shows the same issue with three Novomatic titles that share one name.
How a spin of the original Gates of Olympus plays out
The original game uses six reels and has no paylines at all. Rather than tracing lines from left to right, it counts how many of each symbol are showing. Eight of a kind anywhere on screen makes a win, and the pay table rises with the count, up to thirty of a kind. Position does not matter: eight symbols spread over all six reels pay exactly what eight bunched together would.
Tumbles: several wins from one stake
When a win lands, its symbols disappear and fresh ones drop from above into the empty spaces. If the refill creates another qualifying group, that group pays and clears too, and the cycle continues until a refill produces nothing new. No extra stake is taken for a tumble, and for the same reason a tumble adds nothing to your wagering total; only the paid spin that began the sequence counts.
Multiplier symbols
Some symbols carry a multiplier value, which can be as high as 500×. When more than one is showing, the game adds their values and applies the total to the win, as the next section works through in dollars. Nothing on the reels signals that a large one is close.
Fifteen free spins
Four or more scatter symbols trigger 15 free spins. The stake on the triggering spin pays for the whole feature, so the free spins take nothing further from your balance. The provider does not say how often the feature arrives, so we do not estimate it.
VegasNow worked examples: multipliers and the 96.50% RTP
Because the values are added rather than multiplied, totals grow more gently than many players expect. These values are illustrations; the game decides what actually lands.
- Two symbols: 5× and 25× make 30×, so an A$3 win becomes A$90.
- Three symbols: 2×, 10× and 100× make 112×, so an A$0.50 win becomes A$56. Multiplied together the same three would give 2,000×, which is not how the game counts.
- One symbol at the top value: a single 500× on an A$1.20 win returns A$600.
Pragmatic Play gives the original edition an RTP of 96.50%. In money terms that is an average of A$96.50 back for every A$100 staked, measured over a vast number of spins, with the remaining A$3.50 as the theoretical margin. Two hundred spins at A$1 is A$200 staked; the RTP points to A$193 as the long-run average for that amount, yet a real session of that length can land far above or far below it, and both results fit the same published figure. A long stretch without a multiplier does not make one more likely on the next spin.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter: the four fixed awards
The Super Scatter edition keeps the tumbling grid and the multiplier symbols of up to 500×, then adds a Super Scatter symbol with fixed prizes. When the feature is in play, how many Super Scatters are showing sets the award as a multiple of your stake. Pragmatic Play lists 50,000× as this edition's maximum win, so four Super Scatters are the top of the ladder rather than a step toward something larger.
| Super Scatters | Award | At A$0.50 | At A$2 | At A$8 | Stake at which the award alone reaches A$5,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100× | A$50 | A$200 | A$800 | A$50 |
| 2 | 500× | A$250 | A$1,000 | A$4,000 | A$10 |
| 3 | 5,000× | A$2,500 | A$10,000 | A$40,000 | A$1 |
| 4 | 50,000× | A$25,000 | A$100,000 | A$400,000 | A$0.10 |
The dollar columns are plain multiplication. They do not say how often any award appears, which the provider does not publish, and four Super Scatters is the rarest result in the game.
The last column matters when a bonus is running. Each offer lets you cash out at most A$5,000 of bonus winnings, and within the A$8 bet limit one or two Super Scatters cannot reach that figure on their own, while three can from a stake of A$1. Past the cap, a larger number on screen does not raise what that offer pays out. Real-money play with no bonus removes the bonus cap, but payment limits remain: bank wire withdrawals run from A$300 to A$6,000 and MiFinity from A$30 to A$4,000, the account carries day, week and month caps, and we may split a large payout into instalments. Our withdrawals page lists each method.
How Gates of Olympus counts toward the VegasNow welcome package
All three editions are slots, and under the general bonus terms of 26 February 2024 slots count 100% toward wagering, apart from any titles the terms name as exceptions. For comparison, a dollar on roulette counts as 25 cents, a dollar on blackjack or a game show as 10 cents, and a dollar on baccarat as nothing, which is why a pokie moves a requirement along fastest.
The table applies the 40× rule to each stage of the package at its full size: the deposit that unlocks the whole bonus, the wagering that follows, and how many A$8 spins on Gates of Olympus that wagering represents.
| Stage | Offer and code | Deposit that reaches the cap | Bonus | 40× wagering | Spins at A$8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 150% up to A$1,500 + 200 free spins, no code | A$1,000 | A$1,500 | A$60,000 | 7,500 |
| 2nd | 100% up to A$2,000 + 50 free spins, VEGAS2 | A$2,000 | A$2,000 | A$80,000 | 10,000 |
| 3rd | 50% up to A$2,000 + 50 free spins, VEGAS3 | A$4,000 | A$2,000 | A$80,000 | 10,000 |
| 4th | 25% up to A$2,500 + 200 free spins, VEGAS4 | A$10,000 | A$2,500 | A$100,000 | 12,500 |
The four stages total A$8,000 and 500 free spins. Each offer needs at least A$20, though card and MiFinity deposits start at A$30. The 40× rule also covers free-spin winnings, wagering runs on a 7-day clock, and the spins unlock after the deposit itself has been staked once. Bonus winnings can be cashed out up to A$5,000 per offer, welcome free-spin wins stop at A$300, a second bonus cannot run alongside the first, and the package works in the casino and live casino, not the sportsbook. You can decline a bonus if the numbers do not suit you; the welcome bonus page has every stage.
Worked example: an A$80 first deposit cleared on Gates of Olympus
1. Deposit and match
You deposit A$80 by card, above the A$30 card minimum. The 150% first-deposit match adds A$120, so A$200 is in play. No code is needed at this stage.
2. The free spins unlock
The 200 free spins arrive once the A$80 has been wagered one time, which is 80 paid spins at A$1. Their winnings carry 40× as well: A$50 won on the spins adds A$2,000 to wager, and those winnings are capped at A$300.
3. The 40× requirement
40 × A$120 is A$4,800 of qualifying stakes inside seven days. At A$1 a spin that is 4,800 spins, about 686 a day. At A$2 it is 2,400 spins, about 343 a day. At the A$8 limit it is 600 spins, about 86 a day.
4. Before you withdraw
The A$5,000 per-offer cap applies to bonus winnings. Separately, our account terms ask for every deposit to be turned over three times, so the A$80 needs A$240 of stakes, and we may ask for verification documents first.
Tumbling sequences do not shorten any of this: a sequence of five wins still counts as one A$1 spin toward the A$4,800. The VEGAS2 offer waits until this bonus is cleared or expires. These figures are the arithmetic of the terms, not a prediction of whether the A$200 lasts that long.
The A$8 bet limit on Gates of Olympus while a bonus runs
Whenever a bonus is active on your VegasNow account, the largest stake allowed is A$8 per spin. The rule follows the bonus rather than the offer type, so it covers the welcome stages, reloads from our weekly promotions and bonuses bought with loyalty points alike.
A long tumbling sequence or a big multiplier total can turn a modest stake into a sizeable win, and the instinct afterwards is to raise the bet. With a bonus running, that adds nothing you can keep. At A$8, a total win of 625× the stake already equals the A$5,000 cap, because 5,000 divided by 8 is 625. At A$2 the cap corresponds to 2,500×. Betting above it while a bonus is active breaches the bonus terms.
Earning VegasNow loyalty points on Gates of Olympus
Our loyalty programme turns real-money play into points across seven levels named after Las Vegas venues. Slots, which include every Gates of Olympus edition, earn at the fastest published rate: each A$25 staked brings one redeemable point plus one status point. Roulette pays one point per A$100, while blackjack and baccarat pay one per A$250.
| Real-money stakes on Gates of Olympus | Spins at A$1 | Spins at A$2 | Points earned |
|---|---|---|---|
| A$50 | 50 | 25 | 2 |
| A$500 | 500 | 250 | 20 |
| A$5,000 | 5,000 | 2,500 | 200, the smallest store exchange |
| A$15,000 | 15,000 | 7,500 | 600, the Golden Glimmer II threshold |
Redeemable points are spent in the Loyalty Store. Golden Glimmer members can swap 200 points for an A$5 bonus, or hold out for 2,000 points and take A$60. Rates improve further up: Parisian Palace Las Vegas members get A$20 for 750 points, and Bella Vista members A$5,000 for 100,000. Every store bonus carries 40× wagering, so the A$5 bonus means A$200 of qualifying stakes, or 100 spins at A$2 on Gates of Olympus.
Status points set your level. Because points follow turnover rather than results, a losing session earns as many as a winning one of the same size; treat them as a by-product of play, never a reason for more of it. Entry to the Sin City VIP Lounge is by selection, and our VIP page explains both systems.
Gates of Olympus on your phone at VegasNow
VegasNow runs in your phone's browser, so Gates of Olympus needs no download. Neither the App Store nor Google Play carries a VegasNow app, we do not distribute an APK, and any file offered under our name is not from us. For one-tap access, save the site as a Home Screen icon:
- iPhone: open the site in Safari, press Share, pick Add to Home Screen and, where offered, keep Open as Web App on.
- Android: open it in Chrome, press More and pick Install or create a shortcut.
You sign in through the same login screen as on a computer, your balance and any active bonus come with you, and the A$8 limit applies to mobile stakes in the same way. Our mobile page covers both routes step by step.
Common Gates of Olympus mistakes, and a pre-spin checklist
- Quoting 96.50% for every edition. That RTP belongs to the original only.
- Multiplying the multipliers. Values are added, so 2×, 10× and 100× make 112×, not 2,000×.
- Counting tumbles as spins. A sequence of wins comes from one paid spin and counts once toward wagering.
- Raising the stake after a big hit. With a bonus active the limit stays at A$8 until the bonus is no longer active.
- Reading the Super Scatter table as a forecast. The provider publishes the awards, not how often they occur.
- Expecting bonus winnings above A$5,000. The per-offer cap decides what can be cashed out.
- Depositing for the next stage too early. The following offer waits while a bonus is still active.
Before your first spin
- Confirm the edition name on the loading screen.
- Open the info panel and read that edition's rules.
- Check whether the title is on the bonus exceptions list.
- If a bonus is active, set the stake at A$8 or less.
- Put a deposit limit on your account if you have not already.
Playing Gates of Olympus responsibly at VegasNow
Gates of Olympus is a game of chance, and each spin is settled on its own. A tumbling sequence that stops early, or a long run with no multiplier, says nothing about what comes next, and raising the stake to win back losses only increases what is at risk. Decide your budget before you start and put a deposit limit on the account; self-exclusion sits in the same menu if play stops being enjoyable.
For confidential help at no cost, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. BetStop is the national register for self-exclusion from Australian-licensed wagering providers, so for VegasNow use the account's own self-exclusion tool. Just Entertainment B.V. runs VegasNow and holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/164/0246, shown on the public validator. Play is for adults aged 18 and over, and our responsible gambling page walks through each limit and tool.
Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: questions and answers
Is Gates of Olympus 1000 just the original with a new name?
No. It is its own game, listed separately in our lobby and run under its own rules. Pragmatic Play's published figures for the original, the 96.50% RTP and the 15-spin feature among them, do not apply to it; its details are in its in-game info panel.
Which RTP does Gates of Olympus have at VegasNow?
Pragmatic Play publishes 96.50% for the original edition. That is an average over a vast number of spins, not the result to expect from one session. We do not quote an RTP for the 1000 or Super Scatter editions; open the info panel in those games to see theirs.
Do the multipliers in Gates of Olympus multiply each other?
No, they add. Symbols showing 5× and 25× give a combined 30×, which is then applied to the win. A single multiplier symbol can carry a value of up to 500×.
How much can Gates of Olympus Super Scatter pay?
The published maximum is 50,000× the stake, for four Super Scatters in the feature. One, two and three Super Scatters award 100×, 500× and 5,000×. With a bonus active, the A$5,000 per-offer cap on bonus winnings still applies.
Does Gates of Olympus count fully toward bonus wagering?
Slots count 100% under the general bonus terms of 26 February 2024, unless the terms name a title as an exception. If your edition is not named there, each dollar you stake on it moves the 40× requirement by a full dollar.
How much can I stake per spin while a bonus is active?
A$8, on all three editions, until the bonus is cleared, expires or is declined. Without an active bonus, the game's own bet range applies.
Do tumbles count as extra spins for wagering?
No. A tumbling sequence is part of the paid spin that started it, so only that spin's stake counts toward wagering, however many wins the sequence produces.
Does Gates of Olympus work on a phone?
It does, through the mobile browser. There is no native app or APK; save VegasNow as a Home Screen icon via Share in Safari or More in Chrome and it opens like an app.
